Sussex Wildlife Trust is holding a drop-in event for members of the public interested in finding out more about the Rye Harbour Discovery Centre. This will be held at Rye Harbour Sailing Club on Tuesday 14 May 2019, from 3pm - 6.30pm. Tor Lawrence, CEO of the Sussex Wildlife Trust, and Dr Barry Yates, Manager at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, will be joined by other key people involved in the project to answer questions about the construction of the Discovery Centre and the facilities that will be on offer once it is completed. Everyone is welcome. The Discovery Centre is a joint project between Sussex Wildlife Trust and the Friends of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. It will transform people’s engagement with the special natural environment and wider heritage of the nature reserve and will be a fantastic resource for thousands of visitors. Anyone interested in learning more about the Discovery Centre can request a monthly newsletter to keep them posted about build news, sightings of some of the outstanding wildlife at the reserve, and ways to donate to the Appeal. ryeharbourdiscoverycentre.org.uk

I am wondering if you are interested in an unusual sea creature we found on the beach last Easter Sunday? It was like a giant pink sea anemone. We have photos and video of it.
